The assignment: The 160 sqm old building apartment was to be completely refurbished and renovated. The costs for the renovation were partly paid by the house owner and the renovation was paid by the tenants. Actually, the tenants wanted to buy an apartment, but since the rent was really cheap, they decided to stay and rather invest in the development of the apartment. In the process, the apartment was also to be completely refurnished. The tenants kept only the table and 3-4 old heirlooms, the rest of the furniture was given away or disposed of. Bathroom and toilet were renovated, doors and windows were overhauled, the parquet was sanded and walls were partially paneled. In addition, a lot of storage space was to be created.
